5 Star Decks is proudly family-owned and operated. Led by Jeff Tinsman, a State of Michigan licensed residential builder and certified deck contractor, whose passion for craftsmanship began 30 years ago with his very first deck, built in his own backyard.

Our dedicated in-house team brings craftsmanship, modern composite materials, and decades of experience to every West Bloomfield deck project. From multi-level designs to full replacements and custom Trex layouts, we manage the entire process ourselves and no outsourcing, just consistent quality every step of the way.
